On Monday, 26th May 2025, an insightful session titled,” Gap টা কোথায় “took place which focused on the gap between academic and tech industries hosted by AIUB Computer Club and referenced by Dr.Khandaker Tabin Hasan, Professor and Head[Graduate Program] of Department of Computer Science, AIUB. The guests were, Mr. Abhijit Bhowmik, Associate Professor and Special Assistant of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), Department of Computer Science, AIUB (Chief Guest), Noor-E-Fayzun Nahar, Head of Programs of IHF and Sefayetul Islam, Branch Manager of IFIC Bank (Bashundhara). It also featured Riyaz Ali, Project Manager of Qinetic Network, Muhammad Joy, Business Development Manager of Edutechs and Tahmid Khan, Co-founder of BacharLorai. This session was facilitated with interaction and dialogue with professionals from multiple sectors, rewarding the discussion with a broad perspective on the tech industry. The session was held from 4 pm to 6 pm and highlighted the dilemma often faced by fresh graduates entering the tech industry, as the recruiter has a high demand for skills. Diving deep into the various sectors of the tech industry and corporate world, gave an insight into the skills needed to step into the tech world and build communication.
